Kairi is a character from the Kingdom Hearts game series. She is a comrade of Sora (who she has strong connection with) and Riku. She lived with the two in the world called Destiny Islands. She got separated from her friends and winds up with the Disney Villains. She is revealed to be one of the Princesses of Hearts and she was needed to unlock the door to the Heart of all Worlds. She was rescued by Sora along with the Princesses and was taken back to her home while Sora is off to find Riku. A year later, she travelled to the World That Never Was and was rescued by her Nobody, Namine. There, she was reunited with Sora and Riku and was taken back to Destiny Islands once again, awaiting the return of the two.

During the course of the game, Kingdom Hearts II, she was given a Keyblade to defend herself with.
In TDragon195's Majestic Guardians series, she appears at the end as a member of the Original Majestic Guardians alongside Sora.
Her name is derived from the word, "sea" in Japanese.
