Black Canary, is a character and a superheroine from DC comics. Aside from her gorgeous appearance, she is known for her ferocius fighting skills and her sonic scream, otherwise known as the "Canary Cry". Two people are known to take up the identity of the heroine. The first one is Dinah Drake, member of the Justice Society who married Gotham City's detective, Larry Lance. The second is her daughter, Dinah Laurel Lance, who became the member of the Justice League.
Black Canary was also known to team up with other heroines or anti-heroines of Gotham, resulting in the formation of the heroic guild called Birds of Prey.
In modern media, mostly in television series, she is portrayd to be romantically involved with her fellow superhero, Green Arrow.
In Majestic Guardians Movie: Return of Lucemon, she appears taking the position as the Guardians' new mentor. It is unspecified which person is it who's taking up the mantle.
